Eric
I recently had an unexpected situation where my passport was outdated and I needed a place to stay in Rome for a few hours before catching a train back. Thankfully, I found Roma Scout Center at the last minute and they were able to accommodate me. The staff at the entrance was incredibly friendly and made the check-in process quick and easy, even though I booked only 30 minutes in advance. The location of the hostel is also quite nice, with bus and metro stations nearby, making it convenient to explore the city. I appreciated that the facility has almost 24-hour working hours, ensuring that I had a quiet and pleasant environment during my stay.
While the rooms at Roma Scout Center were affordable, there were a few drawbacks. The rooms had a strange smell and the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

The staff was very helpful and our room was clean at this hostel.
Booked.net presents this as a hotel, but the Roma Scout Center website makes it clear that they are a hostel.

The room was very large and clean. Common bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was simple but abundant with fresh fruit and bread and coffees. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood with very little evening noise. Each room had ac. The hotel was convenient to the metro into downtown Rome. Restaurants nearby were good for dinner.
Dormitory style hotel with shared bathrooms (mens and womens separate) and bunkbed style rooms. No towels were provided. We were given clean sheets to make our own beds. Breakfast had no meat or cheese.

clean rooms, value for money, good breakfast included in price
not in a central location - although most of the staff at the reception were helpful, a number of them did not try that hard to answer our queries on the city e.g. transport etc

This hotel is a great value for money, offering affordable prices without compromising on basic amenities. The location of this hotel is excellent, being close to both Tiburtina train station and Bologna Metro Station, making it convenient for transportation. The rooms at this hostel are of a decent size and provide lockers for each person, ensuring the safety of belongings during the stay. The staff at this hotel are kind and provide quick and informative assistance, making the check-in process hassle-free.
The noise from other guests can be a minor inconvenience at times.

Directions to get to the hotel from the metro need to be better.

The staff that have red and short hair is not very good. She was making a big mistake about the payment. So trouble! For this, we didn't have a good travel in Roma.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a non-touristy area of Rome. It offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The rooms are well-equipped with lockable cupboards, good lockers, and even air conditioning. I loved the fact that the rooms have French windows that open onto a spacious terrace, perfect for enjoying the summer season. The hotel is also conveniently located in the dead center of Rome, just a short walk from the metro station and within easy reach of all the major attractions.
Wifi could be improved.
